Three dates
Registration, opening and the first public sale. Practitioners read the date the public first sees the name as the launch; registration is the company's birth date for the company-year reading, an extension of the tradition labelled as such.
The company year
This part is worked out by the calculators: open the calculator.
Choosing the registration date
Run Launch Dates for the month with the founder's date of birth. Blocked dates are struck; the top three are highlighted. Register on one of them if the registrar's calendar allows, and do not delay a registration past a deadline for a better number.
What the date does not fix
A name on a caution compound or a partner in a refusal pair. Read those first.
Frequently asked questions
Does the registration date change my numbers?
It adds a company year; the founder's numbers stay.
Can I register on a Saturday?
The launch model reads Saturday as 8; muhurta practice avoids it for openings.
Is the company year classical?
No; it is an extension and labelled as such.
