How it works
The business name is totalled on the Chaldean table and reduced to its digit. That digit is read against the founder's Origin number (day of birth reduced) and Master number (the whole date reduced), and each of them is read back against the name, because the friendship table is not symmetric. Both friendly scores 100, one friendly 85, both neutral 70, one opposed 30, both opposed 0.
A founder who is a 1 and a name that totals to 8 sit opposed in the table. Neither the founder nor the name is at fault; together they leak effort into arguments about authority.
How this calculator works
- R-ORIGIN Origin (mulank) = day of birth reduced. Master (bhagyank) = all eight digits of the date summed once, reduced.
- R-FOUR Four readings: name to Origin, Origin to name, name to Master, Master to name. A number is friendly to the name if both directions are friend or one is friend and the other neutral; opposed if either direction is opposed.
- R-VERDICT Supported by both numbers, by one, or by neither; in conflict when any direction is opposed. Score 100, 85, 70, 30 or 0.
- R-ROLE The Origin number's role family (leadership, back office, PR and so on) is printed from the roles table.
Not what this tells you. Compatibility describes friction, not competence. A Clash is a reason to respell the name or accept the friction knowingly, not a reason to change the founder.
The reason
The directional friendship table (v1 5.3) says how each number regards each other number; 1 regards 8 as opposed and 8 regards 1 as opposed, but 6 regards 3 as opposed while 3 regards 6 as opposed too, and 7 regards everyone as at least neutral. Reading both directions is what makes the verdict honest.
Where the schools disagree

Why is the table not symmetric?
The tradition explains it through planetary hierarchy: a lesser body counts a greater one as a friend without the compliment being returned.
