Life path, expression, soul urge and personality on the Western table, with your Planes of Expression.
How to use: fill in Full name, Date of birth (optional), then press the button.
How it works
Each letter takes a value from 1 to 9 (A to I, then again from J). All letters give the expression, the vowels A, E, I, O, U give the soul urge and the other letters, Y included, give the personality. The life path adds the month, day and year, each reduced first. 11, 22 and 33 are kept as master numbers.
Questions
Why is Y counted as a consonant?
This chart follows a fixed rule: only A, E, I, O and U are vowels. Some books treat Y as a vowel in names like Lynn; this one does not, so the same name always gives the same numbers.
What are the Planes of Expression?
Every letter belongs to one of four planes: mental, physical, emotional or intuitive. Counting your letters shows which way of working your name leans towards.
Why does my life path show 11, 22 or 33?
These are master numbers and are not reduced further. They are read through their single digit too: 11 through 2, 22 through 4 and 33 through 6.
