In brief

Your name on the Hebrew number ladder, by the standard, ordinal or reduced method.

How to use: fill in Full name, Method, then press the button.

How it works

Each Latin letter of your name takes a value on the Hebrew decimal ladder: A to I are 1 to 9, J to R are 10 to 90 and S to Z are 100 to 800. These values are OccultMaster's transliteration table, not a reading of a name written in Hebrew letters. The standard method adds the values, the ordinal method counts A=1 to Z=26 and the reduced method uses each value's single digit.

Questions

Is this the same as writing my name in Hebrew?

No. Your name is read in the Latin alphabet and each letter borrows a value from the Hebrew ladder. A name spelt in Hebrew letters can give a different total.

Which method should I choose?

Standard is the usual one, and its root is the one shown when systems are compared. All three totals are always listed; the method you choose only sets the headline.
