Number of the day

What your name and numbers add up to

Chaldean, Pythagorean and Indian numerology for your name, your birth date and your business, with every sum shown so you can check it by hand.

  • The Chaldean table has no letter worth 9; 9 is kept for the total.
  • A name's compound number is its total before the last reduction, read on its own.
  • Your Origin number (mulank) is the day you were born; your Master number (bhagyank, the life-path number) is the whole date added up.
  • The Lo Shu square adds to 15 in every row, column and diagonal.
  • Pythagorean letters run A to I as 1 to 9, then start again at J.
  • 11, 22 and 33 are kept as master numbers in some systems and reduced in others.
  • A business name is read as the market hears it, so spell it as it is written on the board.
