Whose method this is
The Chaldean letter values and the meanings of the compound numbers follow the classical Chaldean tradition. The readings on this site, and the scores and business rules built on them, are Rahul Kaushl's (OccultMaster). Every page applies them the same way.
Three layers
- Calculation. Letters are valued, dates are reduced, tables are looked up. Deterministic and shown on every page: the same inputs give the same words.
- Interpretation. The compound is read in the classical table, the digit is read as character, the friendship table is read in both directions. Where the schools disagree the positions are kept apart.
- Recommendation. Scores and rankings are NumeroPandit's synthesis of the rules practitioners repeat most, weighted and documented; they are labelled as synthesis, never as classical text.
What is counted
- Entity suffixes (Pvt Ltd, LLP, Inc, Corp). Stripped, because a registrar conferred them; the with-suffix total is shown as a secondary line.
- Chosen descriptors (Traders, Studio, Solutions). Counted; the founder chose them.
- Ampersand. Counted as the word AND.
- Digits. Counted at face value and flagged.
- Dots, hyphens, apostrophes. Dropped; hyphenated domains show both totals.
- Domain extension, www, path. Stripped; the second-level label is counted.
- Honorifics (Mr, Dr, Shri). Stripped from personal names.
- Diacritics. Folded to plain letters before counting.
Where the schools disagree
- Letter system. Chaldean (the classical table, Indian practice) against Pythagorean (Western). Chaldean leads; Pythagorean is the second lens.
- Master numbers. Reduced in Indian business practice; kept in Western practice. Five reduction modes exist and single is the default.
- The number 8. Money and scale to some practitioners; Saturn's delay to others. Presented as a split; cautioned as a name digit outside the sectors that favour it.
- The friendship table's edges. Tables differ on 1 and 9, 6 and 9, 8 and 9, 9 and 3. NumeroPandit keeps one table so every page agrees with itself.
- Lo Shu fill. Raw date digits only (Chinese practice) or with Origin, Master and Kua numbers (Indian practice). Both available; the Indian fill is the default.
- Personal year formula. Day plus month plus year (dominant); world year based; last-birthday based; weekday based. The dominant formula is used.
