Workable
1 reads 7 as neutral and 7 reads 1 as a friend. The 7 goes deep and looks to the 1 to face the market; the 1 accepts the depth without always seeing its value, because Ketu's work is inward and the Sun's is outward. The pair is workable in product companies, research and anything that crosses borders.

As name and founder
A business name totalling to 1 for a founder whose Origin and Master numbers are 7 reads Strong; the reverse, a 7 name for a 1 founder, reads Strong. Both directions support each other, so either digit can carry the letterhead for the other.
A 1 name for a 7 founder reads Strong; A 7 name for a 1 founder reads Strong.
As phone digits
In a phone number the digits 17 and 71 both carry no reading. Phone Line reads all nine pairs together, since one pair never decides a line.
17 reads no reading; 71 reads no reading.
What to do about it
Keep the 7 on product, research and finance, and the 1 on customers and decisions. Launch in the 7's window, personal years 1, 5 and 6, and keep the company name on a 5 or 6 that both befriend.
Sectors that favour both: Technology and IT, Travel and hospitality.
