Why some shops on good streets stay quiet

The Lo Shu square traced in a golden thread

The location is right, the stock is right, and the door stays closed. Practitioners look at the unit number first: a shop on a 2, 4 or 8 caps the reading, and a unit digit that opposes the owner's Origin number costs walk-ins the street should have delivered.

The reason

The premises reading counts the unit as written, letters on the Chaldean values and digits summed; the floor, building and street are lighter layers, because the unit is the number people walk up to. A 5 unit favours convenience and movement, a 6 salons and cafes, an 8 wholesale and machinery; a unit that opposes the owner is read against the friendship table. The trades a digit favours and struggles with come from practitioner readings of the premises.

Frequently asked
Should I move if my unit is a 4?
Not on this alone. The reading caps at 55 and names the trades a 4 favours: repairs, technology and discount retail. Match the trade before moving the shop.
Does the street number matter?
Lightly. Practitioners count the unit; the street carries 10 of the 100 weight and PIN codes are excluded, because nobody walks up to a PIN code.
What is the Kua direction?
The Sheng Chi direction for the owner's Kua number, used for the working desk only. It is printed in the Blueprint.
