आपकी जानकारी

Enter a date of birth and the life path number is computed the Western way, with 11, 22 and 33 kept as they are rather than reduced away. The arithmetic is shown at every step, so you can check it rather than take it. Add a full name and the name-derived lenses are computed as well; they sit in the practitioner material, with the pinnacles and the challenges.

Many life path calculators give a single digit and stop, and some flatten 11, 22 and 33 into 2, 4 and 6 before the reader ever sees them. A person reads the wrong number and builds on it. This page keeps the masters, shows the reduction at each stage, and says which school it is following.

How this calculator works

  • R-LIFEPATH The day, the month and the year are reduced separately, then added, then reduced again. A total of 11, 22 or 33 is kept at every stage rather than reduced further. The year is summed digit by digit before it is reduced.
  • R-MASTERS 11, 22 and 33 are kept as they stand in the life path and in the pinnacles, which start from the same three figures. Two things reduce them, and only for their own arithmetic: the pinnacle age windows use the life path reduced to a single digit, and the challenges are worked on single digits.
  • R-PINNACLE Four pinnacles, from the same three reduced figures: the first is month plus day, the second day plus year, the third the first plus the second, the fourth month plus year. The first runs from birth to the age 36 minus the reduced life path; the second and third are nine years each; the fourth runs to the end.
  • R-CHALLENGE Four challenges, from the same pairs subtracted rather than added, as absolute differences. A challenge of 0 is a real result and is not an error. The challenges are read on single digits, so the day, the month and the year enter them reduced, masters included; the pinnacles keep them.
  • R-NAME The name-derived lenses need a full name and are computed on the Pythagorean table. Karmic lessons are the digits 1 to 9 that no letter of the name carries; hidden passion is the digit carried most often; the planes of expression sort the letters into four planes and three columns.
  • R-SECOND-LENS This is the Western second lens. The Origin number, the Master number and every verdict on this site are Chaldean, and where the two readings differ the difference is shown rather than averaged.

Not what this tells you. A life path is a reading of a date, not a forecast of a life. Nothing here diagnoses, treats or predicts, nothing here claims an outcome, and no number on this page is a reason to make or avoid a decision on its own. Read it beside the rest of the chart.

The reason

The day, the month and the year are each reduced on their own, then summed, then reduced once more, and a master number surviving any of those stages is kept. This is the Western reading and it runs on the Pythagorean side of the house. It is a second lens here, not the leading one: the verdicts on this site are Chaldean, and the number Indian practice reads first is the Origin number — the day of birth reduced. Both are shown, and where they disagree the page says so rather than choosing for you.

What the life path number is, and what it is not

It is the number the Western tradition reads first, and it is the sum of the date you were born.

The reasoning behind it is simple enough to check. A date has three parts and each one is reduced on its own before they are added, so that the month, the day and the year each contribute rather than one long addition washing them together. What comes out is read as the ground a person works on — the register they are at home in, not the ceiling they can reach.

What it is not is a verdict. It does not say what to do for a living, it does not rank one person above another, and it carries no timing of its own. A life path is the floor of the chart. Everything that moves — the year, the month, the name, the business — is read against it, and this site reads most of that on a different table entirely.

Why 11, 22 and 33 are kept here

Because the Western method reads them as numbers in their own right, and a calculator that reduces them hands the reader a different number without saying so.

The three are called master numbers. A person whose date totals 11 is not a 2 with a decoration on it; the tradition reads 11 as a different register from 2, holding the same material under more pressure. The same for 22 against 4 and 33 against 6. Flatten them and the reading you get is not a simplified version of the right answer, it is a different answer.

So this page keeps a master wherever one appears: in the day, in the month, in the year, in the total, and in the pinnacles built from them. It reduces in two places, and says so at each. The pinnacle age windows use the life path reduced to a single digit, and the challenges are worked on single digits. Both are arithmetic on the number, not a reading of it.

The life path and the Origin number are not the same number

They are computed from the same date and they answer different questions, and confusing them is the most common mistake a person makes on their own chart.

The Origin number — the number Indian practice reads first, and the one every verdict on this site is built from — is the day of birth reduced, and nothing else. Someone born on the 14th has Origin 5 whatever the month or the year. The life path takes the whole date. They agree often enough that people assume they are the same thing, and when they disagree the disagreement is the interesting part.

Avoid picking whichever of the two flatters the reading you wanted. Instead take the Origin number as the working number, because that is what the name, the sector and the timing on this site are scored against, and take the life path as the wider ground it sits on. Where they part, the page shows both.

What to do with this before you name a business

Read your own numbers first, then the business's. That order is not a preference; it is what the scoring actually does.

A business name is not scored on its own here. It is scored as a name, then against the founder's Origin and Master numbers in both directions, then against the sector. Which means the founder's numbers are an input to every verdict the site gives, and a person who has not looked at their own chart is reading half a result.

So the useful sequence is short. Take the life path and the Origin number from this page. Run Core Numbers for the Master number, the Kua and the personal year. Then take a name to Name Score with the date of birth filled in, and the founder fit appears beside the name's own total rather than being left out.

Your numbers, then your business's numbers. Everything this site scores — a name, a domain, a launch date, a partner — is read against the founder's own chart, so the reading you have just taken is an input to all of it. Core Numbers gives the Master number, the Kua and the personal year. Name Score takes a business name with that date of birth filled in, and the founder fit appears beside the name's own total.

सवाल-जवाब

How do I calculate my life path number?

Reduce the day, the month and the year separately, add the three, and reduce once more, keeping 11, 22 or 33 wherever one appears. The page shows every step of that for the date you enter, so you can check the arithmetic rather than trust it.

Is the life path number the same as the Origin number?

No. The Origin number is the day of birth reduced and nothing else; the life path takes the whole date. They agree often and they are not the same number. Every verdict on this site runs on the Origin number, and the life path is the wider ground it sits on.

What if my life path is 11, 22 or 33?

It stays as it is. The Western method reads 11, 22 and 33 as numbers in their own right, so the life path is not reduced past them, and neither are the pinnacles built from it. The age windows and the challenges use single digits for their own arithmetic; the life path itself is unchanged.

Which system is this, Chaldean or Pythagorean?

Pythagorean, and it is offered here as a second lens. The Chaldean table leads everywhere else on this site, including every business name verdict. Nothing on this page is blended with a Chaldean total.

Do I need my full name?

Not for the life path, which comes from the date alone and is complete without it. Add the full name and the name-derived lenses are computed too; they sit in the practitioner material with the pinnacles and the challenges. Leave it out and nothing is withheld from the date reading.
